Description

Recipe by Psisarah.¬†Long behind me are the days of crepes, waffles and pancakes which used to be a staple in my diet. I’m not a fan of frankenfood pancake mixes which leave an odd taste in my mouth, and this natural mix curbed my pancake craving and thens some. Everyone who has tried them loves them, even if they’re not eating low carb! The whole batch will make about 2-4 pancakes, depending on size and is only 2.5 net carbs. Try topping with some Walden Farms sugar free pancake syrup, no calories and no carbs.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 2 tsp whipping cream
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp liquid sweetener
  • .5 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Melt butter in a dish for about 30 seconds. Mix other ingredients into bowl using a mixer (mixing with a fork will work too) and pour into a waffle maker, or into a frying pan to make pancakes. Try expirmenting with other flavoured extracts, such as maple or almond!
