Description
I found that a lot of shop bought hamburgers are high in carbs when they really don’t need to be, so I decided to make my own at home and the result is just as delicious without the high amount of carbs
Ingredients
- Beef mince – 800g makes about 6 large burgers – alternatively use pork mince
- 2 finely chopped spring onions
- 1 piece of crushed garlic
- 3 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1 egg
Directions
- Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl
- Stir and mix together until you can’t see the wiggles in the mince and it becomes more of a solid mass
- Take a handful of mince, shape into a ball
- Place it onto a baking tray, push down on it until it forms a burger shape
- Grill, fry or bake until cooked
- Serve with a salad, add cheese slices or do whatever you usually do with burgers
